Keech Hospice Care|
Keech Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care for adults and children diagnosed with a life-limiting condition.
Its adult hospice service looks after patients in Luton and South Bedfordshire and its children’s hospice service cares for children and their families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Milton Keynes.
Care at the hospices focuses on helping patients to enjoy the best quality of life possible - controlling their pain and other symptoms; offering emotional and practical support; providing suitable treatments and therapies including complementary therapy, music and hydrotherapy and, when the time comes providing the best care to ensure a comfortable and dignified death.
When someone is seriously ill, family and friends can all be affected too. Keech Hospice Care is there to support them as much as they need throughout their loved one’s illness and in their bereavement.
Both hospices have in-patient and day care facilities designed to meet the varying ages and individual needs of each patient and, recognising that families with life-limited children often prefer to care for their child at home, the children’s community nursing team helps them do this.
All of the charity’s services are offered free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can also follow us on facebook and twitter and for more information contact us on 01582 492339.
